NY Botanical Garden

Lately, I’ve been feeling extremely inspired and wanted to keep my creative juicing flowing by going somewhere scenic. I’ve heard from a few people I work with that the NY Botanical Garden, in the Bronx, is definitely a place to have on your bucket list. It’s seriously one of the most beautiful gardens I’ve ever been to. I spent the entire afternoon walking around the greenhouse and the outside trail with my childhood friend Alyssa. It was a perfect day to end the weekend. Hope everyone is enjoying their memorial day weekend!

Wore a basic top with scalloped edges from Topshop and all black everything else. Grabbed lunch at Red Bamboo in Greenwich Village and I must say the veggie-chicken tasted rather authentic.

Since walking is a main priority in New York, I guess I should start looking for tennis shoes.

I’m now officially a resident of New York City! Not quite settled in completely, I’m still looking for little things here-and-there for the apartment, but it’s all coming along together nicely. I still can’t believe I’m here. Surreal.

I moved towards The Upper Westside and found a nice little studio that overlooks the city. I know one thing is for sure, I sure did take the luxury of square footage for granted in L.A. Although, the compensation of my balcony size (and location) couldn’t be more perfect. Regardless of all the craziness that’s been going on (with the move and all), I have no regrets and can’t be happier than I’ve ever been in my life.
