I don’t own many flats and even if I did I doubt I would wear them often. I’ll make an exception for these Givenchy sandals. These babies literally live up to the name of a simple ‘flat’ sandal. Single straps and a practical, small, silver closure is so ideal. I could walk all day in them!
Just the usual online browsing and came across these Acne boots that I’m sort of obsessed with. My only dilemma is that I’m not that much of a ‘risk taker’ when it comes to shoes so I’m debating back and forth if I should get it in black or not. On the other hand, I’m thinking that it’s way to perfect in this baby blue. I’m going to go ahead and step away from my computer for a couple of hours and come back to it to see if it still has the same effect. I’m sure it will.
Coachella is right around the corner so I thought I’d pull a few items together to show you guys what I would wear if I were going this year. No, I am not going to Coachella this year because I’m going to be busy around that time with moving around. I went to Coachella two years ago and did not know exactly what I was in for. The weather was so hot during the day that it literally was a chore to move around amongst the heat and keep my face from melting (hence the Chanel foundation for light coverage). The events were nice and much more cooling under the umbrellas and sitting areas. Everyone there was trendy and stylish (but comfortable) and of course the music set the perfect mood. If I were going this year, I’d wear a simple light tank with a nice statement bottom (in this case an all beaded skirt from All Saints works), and some motor-boots. Accessories are always nice to wear to a music festival so I would stack up on bracelets and rings. Kind of a bad-ass bohemian look. Perfect-o.

I’m waiting for this gold Mango belt to arrive. I’ve been in need of a new belt, well..new everything, and this belt could not have come at a better time. I saw a similar one worn by Columbine which began my hunt for gold belts. Another reason why I made this purchase is because, usually, whenever I shop for belts I need to be able to find a small or I’m screwed. Most of the time the small ones are the first ones being snatched up. But this belt is literally adjustable to any fitting size (which is awesome).
