(Helmut Lang top, black leggings, Illevesta sunglasses, Converse, Baggu leather tote bag)

It’s getting much warmer here in NY and oddly enough I have been grabbing mostly black pieces to wear.
This top I am wearing by Helmut Lang is seriously on repeat and so comfortable that I literally wish I got one in white too! It’s an older style but here is one that is almost identical.

On another note- I know that I’ve been pretty much M.I.A these past couple of months and [I know] it’s been too long! I feel bad about neglecting my blog but I’ve been so busy that I needed to prioritize what was most important first. Now that I’ve settled in the city and finally feel at ease again, I’ve decided to get back to blogging. It’s cool though because I feel that this could be a fresh start and now that I’m in a new city, I can share many new experiences here with you guys. If you guys have any questions on what it’s like moving to a new city or just anything in general, please do comment below or ask me on my formspring and would gladly love to help! =]

I came across your blog about a year ago and would check in on it from time to time. I would always imagine a wardrobe like yours before I even knew you, or well was a fan. Additionally, Theory has been one of my all time favorite brnads. When I found out that you are Theory’s Women’s Designer, I was completely blown away! Working for Theory would be hands down my dream job and I wrote to you hoping you might be able to give me some advice towards a career in the fashion insudtry as well as getting the oppurtunity to get such a position. I’m still young and have quite sometime until it really gets serious, but seeing Theory’s actual designer gives me some hope that scoring that dream might in fact be of reach. Obviously with great determination and motivation will this be achieved and I will be taking fashion classes and most likely attending a fashion school in the city. I’m torn between designing and styling but since becoming a ‘fashion designer’ has been one of those traditional childhood dreams and hasn’t been forgotten, I don’t want to throw it away so easily.
Back to the point, was getting the job just like the classic application, interview, and boom? I’ve been meaning to write you this for quite some time but just couldn’t get myself to with fear of sounding like a creeper and getting brushed aside. But hey, its been bothering me to ask and I truly do hope you’ll write or email back!

Hi Robin! I love your blog and how your minimalistic style still makes a big statement~ Also I was wondering if you had any tips on moving to New York City, because in December I would be moving there for work and I wanted to know how to find good apartments and how you settled in, thanks!
