Helped my friend, Elena, out with her assignment today for her interior design class. Went into almost every existing furniture on Melrose and Third. I know this goes against what I said in my last post but I don’t know how I managed to pull only neutrals. I’m kind of glad I did because it was burning hot today and I couldn’t bare being outside for more than five minutes.

Wearing a Forever21 top, I’ve had for years now, that I can’t seem to let go. It’s one of those inexpensive pieces that I look at from time to time and just allow it sit in my closet until I find some good use for it. Thought it might look cool and be a nice feminine touch against my cropped leather jacket.

Despite my dysfunctional hair being uncooperative against the wind, I managed to get up a few flight of stairs to look over the Santa Monica Bridge. I didn’t stay up for long because of strong winds almost knocking me over and random drivers honking every five seconds.

I’ve been in this mood where I want everything to be as easy as possible. So if that means a printed blouse with denim cut-offs then so be it. Speaking of things being easy, my computer is making my life ten times harder than it should be. All of a sudden every program on my computer wants to process like a baby turtle, which is driving my insane, hence the lack of posts. Nonetheless, I’ve decided to get a new MacBook ASAP. I’m not sure if I should get a MacBook Pro or the MacBook Air but I think I’m leaning more towards the Air but we’ll see…

Baggy But Not Really

After a long day of cleaning my closet, I have little to zero amounts of denim left. I did choose to keep a couple of my baggy jeans because I’m always in need of a break from skin tight pants. These from Zara are not extremely ‘baggy’ on me but passable because I got them two sizes larger. It’s casual but dressy enough to wear to work or meetings, paired with a blouse and black heels.

I can’t believe I’ve never been to Chinatown after all the years of living in L.A but I finally had the experience to go yesterday. I had dinner at the Yang Chow Restaurant and ordered mixed vegetables with a bowl of rice. So good! If you have never been to Chinatown, I highly recommend that place. Wearing a printed silk blouse from Zara, I really love this print. It reminds me of scarf prints, or as my friend called it the ‘Versace print, which I love.
