I know this is a contradiction from my previous post but bare with me. I did pick up a few bracelets [worthy for everyday use] by browsing along the strip. Those kiosks were useful for once.
Coachella is right around the corner so I thought I’d pull a few items together to show you guys what I would wear if I were going this year. No, I am not going to Coachella this year because I’m going to be busy around that time with moving around. I went to Coachella two years ago and did not know exactly what I was in for. The weather was so hot during the day that it literally was a chore to move around amongst the heat and keep my face from melting (hence the Chanel foundation for light coverage). The events were nice and much more cooling under the umbrellas and sitting areas. Everyone there was trendy and stylish (but comfortable) and of course the music set the perfect mood. If I were going this year, I’d wear a simple light tank with a nice statement bottom (in this case an all beaded skirt from All Saints works), and some motor-boots. Accessories are always nice to wear to a music festival so I would stack up on bracelets and rings. Kind of a bad-ass bohemian look. Perfect-o.

Love this place I discovered on Sunset this past week. It’s called Elderberries and it’s this organic hole in the wall restaurant that has the best food ever! I mean the food made me feel right at home! There was also a blues singer that sang for an hour straight! If you haven’t tried it, TRY IT!
(Old Navy cardigan, Armani Exchange tank, Brand&Melville shorts, Steve Madden platforms, & UO messenger bag)
Steven Madden never disappoints me when it comes to his platform heels. I got these black suede platforms the other day and they are super comfortable. I like the fact that I can imagine myself wearing these with anything in my closet. Literally! Other than the shoes and purse, I decided to go all pastels today. I am really feeling the combination of these colours..makes me feel extremely feminine wearing them.
Lately, I’ve been on the hunt for an ‘everyday‘ shoe. I am thinking along the lines of a black (or possibly taupe) ankle boot with a 3 to 4 inch heel. I’ve been looking around at some of the sites I usually go on for online shopping but I still have not come across any that catches my eye. Sigh~… hopefully I will find the perfect pair soon.
