(top/coat/shoes: Zara, shorts: Levi’s, glasses: random Melrose boutique, photos by Elena)

Went out for lunch with my friend Elena today and walked out the door before my hair could fully dry. This is what happens when you have two people starving. I wore my Zara heels out for the first time and I absolutely love them! Couldn’t ask for a better heel. The simplicity of the shoes makes it easy to wear with anything.

(trench coat: purchased in Korea, shirt: Zara, leggings: DTLA, shoes: Zara, necklace: mom’s)

Took a drive around Venice beach today and stopped by the canal for a walk and to look at ducks. It’s always nice to escape work, stress, and being cooped up in the house all day by taking a nice long drive around L.A. It’s been sunny but chilly enough to throw on a light coat. This trench coat that I bought from Korea last year is perfect because it’s literally light as a feather. So appropriate for this kind of weather.

On another note, don’t I look weird in flats? I barely own any but I’ll bring them out every once in a while. I feel so short and frumpy without extra inches from my heels to ‘enhance’ my height, haha. Four inches or higher please!

(dress: thifted, coat/shoes: Zara)

The dress is a bit too revealing for a real life situation (real life meaning going out and wearing in public). I guess I could layer a blouse or shirt under it but thought it would be appropriate to wear the dress (as is) due to the isolate location. Usually, before I make purchases on clothes, I try to map out all the possibilities of me wearing it. If those possibilities do not weigh out, I walk away from it. I would have walked away from this dress but I convinced myself to reason making ownership of it because 1) It would make a cool post and 2) I don’t own any white dresses. I like it though, it’s cool.

(blouse: bought in Korea, silk pajama tank: Mom’s closet, shorts: vintage Levi’s, coat/booties: Zara, watch: Guess, beaded bracelet: my design)

I love what a pair of vintage denim shorts can do to dress down a look. Here is me once again wearing something super casual. I stole my mom’s old silk pajama tank when I went to my parent’s house this past Christmas and I have been wearing it non-stop. I layered my crème shirt with the buttons undone with my coat from Zara to give the look some depth. Now off to make chocolate cake at 10:28 a.m.

(coat/shirt/pants: Zara, booties: Steve Madden, watch: Guess, bracelet: DIY, belt: J.Crew)

I’m obsessed with this leopard print coat that I picked up at Zara. I like how the print is slightly muted and not as loud as usual leopard prints are. Makes it wearable with practically anything. I usually have the hardest time finding pants that actually fit me to my satisfaction but I found these cotton candy pink skinnies on the way to pay for the coat. Think I’ll go back to get them in black and white also.

On another note, I will be selling the multi-colored bracelet (that you see me wearing in this post) on my shop blog. Click here.
