Coachella is right around the corner so I thought I’d pull a few items together to show you guys what I would wear if I were going this year. No, I am not going to Coachella this year because I’m going to be busy around that time with moving around. I went to Coachella two years ago and did not know exactly what I was in for. The weather was so hot during the day that it literally was a chore to move around amongst the heat and keep my face from melting (hence the Chanel foundation for light coverage). The events were nice and much more cooling under the umbrellas and sitting areas. Everyone there was trendy and stylish (but comfortable) and of course the music set the perfect mood. If I were going this year, I’d wear a simple light tank with a nice statement bottom (in this case an all beaded skirt from All Saints works), and some motor-boots. Accessories are always nice to wear to a music festival so I would stack up on bracelets and rings. Kind of a bad-ass bohemian look. Perfect-o.

Stack Them Up

Arm candy, arm party, arm swag, call it whatever you want but apparently everyone (including me) is going crazy over collecting/stacking up their own personal style of mix-match bracelets to have displayed on one or both arms. I actually like love this trend because it sort of hits home for me. It reminds me of my grandmother and how she wears all of her beaded Buddah bracelets on her right arm for prayer, my old high school English teacher Mrs. Mowery who would collect all of the bracelets her students would make for her, or all of my attempts at making home-made bracelets for my mom on Mother’s Day. I mean it’s cliché or whatnot but that’s why you see them everywhere! I love the idea of pieces whether it be clothing, accessories, or jewelry that have that ‘made it yourself’ look. Makes it more personable, no? Besides, if you can’t afford to buy an expensive bracelet such as this one, you can always purchase (or make yourself) an inexpensive bracelet like this one.
