How perfect is this sweater from Sea NY? I love it for two reasons: 1. The leopard print is practical for both day and night 2. The two slits at the bottom gives it that conservative with sex appeal ‘Carven’ look. I’ve been finding that leopard is a good print to invest in because it will never officially expire. Yeah, sure, it might die down for a little bit but it will always remain in the cycle of fashion. As a result, my leopard print mixing was up for questioning by my sister but I found it quite comical.

Just as soon as I thought the leopard print craze was over for a few seasons to come, I see designers like Stella McCartney, Thakoon (for Thakoon Addition), and Céline going leopard cray cray for their resort 2013 collection. I have to admit that even I am not ready to let leopard prints go just quite yet. There’s something about that print that brings out our inner feline or a leopard print epiphany that us women (and men) cannot let go! Besides, I still have my leopard print coat, bag, and flats to wear out to death! But then again will the leopard print ever be ‘so yesterday’?
Quick shopping along the Promenade with Sophie today-which for me was unsuccessful. I’m wearing leggings from Zara that I’m still [surprisingly] in love with and a basic sheer with top with ribbed trimming. I’m kind of loving the fact that I’m working with what I have in my closet, at the moment, and neglect shopping for a while.
I can’t believe I’ve never been to Chinatown after all the years of living in L.A but I finally had the experience to go yesterday. I had dinner at the Yang Chow Restaurant and ordered mixed vegetables with a bowl of rice. So good! If you have never been to Chinatown, I highly recommend that place. Wearing a printed silk blouse from Zara, I really love this print. It reminds me of scarf prints, or as my friend called it the ‘Versace print, which I love.
