(dress: Motel Rocks, shades: Karen Walker, heels: Zara, bag: Proenza Schouler)

Went out for brunch at Tart with my sister and Elena yesterday. As a result, I wore this Motel Rocks dress. It’s been a while since I’ve worn a dress so that probably explains my extreme feeling of ‘girl-y-ness’. I haven’t owned anything in turquoise (or anything remotely close to that colour) but I’ve grown to accept that bold colours may possibly look alright on me.

(leopard print sweater: Sea NY (similar one here), shorts: Zara, shades: Karen Walker, shoes: Theyskens’ Theory)

How perfect is this sweater from Sea NY? I love it for two reasons: 1. The leopard print is practical for both day and night 2. The two slits at the bottom gives it that conservative with sex appeal ‘Carven’ look. I’ve been finding that leopard is a good print to invest in because it will never officially expire. Yeah, sure, it might die down for a little bit but it will always remain in the cycle of fashion. As a result, my leopard print mixing was up for questioning by my sister but I found it quite comical.

(sweater: vintage, skirt: Zara, heels: Jean-Michel Cazabat, bag: Proenza Schouler, shades: Ray-Ban)

Browsed through Robertson today for some retail therapy. I’ve been so busy with this move (packing, unloading, loading, shipping, apartment hunting, etc..) that I’ve completely forgot how to breath. It felt good today to stick my head out the window and feel the breeze. I’m truly going to miss this perfect L.A. weather but I’m not dwelling, I swear.

Anyway, I love this new skirt I got from Zara. Actually, It’s not so new but I’ve been keeping my eye on it for a while. I remember I tried it on once and it didn’t fit so well. Reminded myself that I know how to alter and took it home. Cut some inches off and now one of my favorite skirts ever.

(shirt: Theyskens’ Theory, jeans/shoes: Zara, bag: Proenza Schouler, shades: Ray-Ban)

I love this high-low hem on this Theory shirt, thinking about making it my go-to basic piece for the summer. The fit is awesome too; I never knew a basic shirt could have such an effect. Sometimes simple says it all.

I’m an extremely picky person, particularly, when it comes to handbags. Which probably explains why I only have a few handful. I’ve been eyeing this bag since the dark ages and decided not to long ago that I would go ahead and poke at my bank account. Though I will say, the poking definitely paid off. I absolutely love this bag; now I truly know what all the fuss was about! The size is perfect to carry out during the day or evening and the front design is almost too clever for one to take in all at once. It truly is a beauty of it’s own.
