(leopard print sweater: Sea NY (similar one here), shorts: Zara, shades: Karen Walker, shoes: Theyskens’ Theory)

How perfect is this sweater from Sea NY? I love it for two reasons: 1. The leopard print is practical for both day and night 2. The two slits at the bottom gives it that conservative with sex appeal ‘Carven’ look. I’ve been finding that leopard is a good print to invest in because it will never officially expire. Yeah, sure, it might die down for a little bit but it will always remain in the cycle of fashion. As a result, my leopard print mixing was up for questioning by my sister but I found it quite comical.

Helped my friend, Elena, out with her assignment today for her interior design class. Went into almost every existing furniture on Melrose and Third. I know this goes against what I said in my last post but I don’t know how I managed to pull only neutrals. I’m kind of glad I did because it was burning hot today and I couldn’t bare being outside for more than five minutes.

I love the unexpected cropped back of this Zara sweater, gives it some extra pizzazz. There’s actually a funny story behind this purchase. I was in the fitting room and went out to show, my friend, Elena how it fit and some random lady standing next to my fitting room was praising me to get the top. She even called her fourteen-something year old daughter out to persuade her to get the top too! I could tell the girl was uncomfortable and embarrassed. The top was probably a little too inappropriate for her personal taste. But then again, if I hadn’t worn just a nude bra underneath it would have been a possible ‘maybe’ rather than a complete ‘mom-let’s-be-serious’ grin. Regardless of being inappropriate or not, I shall wear this as is, with a slip, as a cover-up, or however else I like.

Here is my uniform for summer, a white shirt, white cut-off shorts, and booties. I love the simplicity of this as a whole and better yet I love the nice pop my leopard print Zara bag adds. A look that is worn by many but seriously a casual classic!

Lunch and shopping around Rodeo is always fun and relaxing. A little shopping therapy never hurts, well, physically.

I wanted to feel as comfortable as possible so I wore the lightest shirt that I own with some old track-esque shorts. I’m not to big on bold statement pieces, like my Forever21 necklace, on me but it was fun experimenting for that day. I actually quite like it.
